We have a unique opportunity for a Student Environmental Health Officer to join our team!
What You Will Do:
As a Student Environmental Health Officer, you will work closely with our Licensing and Compliance team to develop your professional skills and practical experience across a broad range of environmental health function ranging from food safety inspections and compliance assessments to community education and public health initiatives. Every day will present new challenges, learning opportunities, and experiences that will help build the foundations of your future career.
This is a truly exciting chance to work alongside experienced Environmental Health professionals, contribute to the health and wellbeing of the Cairns community, and apply your university studies in real-world situations.
What We Are Looking For:
- Current Driver’s Licence and the ability to drive independently between all business locations.
- Currently undertaking tertiary studies in Environmental Health, Public Health, or Environmental Science with a focus on environmental health topics.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
