We are seeking a vibrant and detail-oriented team members to join our Sydney campus as Student Support Officer The role is based in our Sydney campus. These position is crucial for providing our students with courteous, informed, and high-quality customer service, as well as assisting with the overall delivery and management of our programs.
Qualifications & experience
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Some RTO and Customer Service Experience Preferred
- Microsoft Office suite and other standard software
- Able to work in a team and/or autonomously
- Outgoing Personality
Tasks & responsibilities for Student Support Officer :
- Responding to enquiries (in person, by phone, email etc.), sourcing information, following up and providing responses in a timely manner
- Attending the reception desk in absence of Student Services Officer.
- Assisting with Student enrolment, Intakes and Orientations
- Arranging applicable suspension of studies, deferment, extensions, withdrawals, leave of absence,
change of campus, and other changes related to students’ course
- Monitoring academic progress as per the “Course Progress Policy” and follow up with all the required steps such as Warning letters, Intervention strategy, support log.
- Conducting face-to-face meeting or call over the phone as an intervention meeting with the students
- Monitoring the course completion rate, the finishers list, and assisting with the graduation ceremony.
- Liaising between students and trainers for academic support.
- Liaising with other team members in Admission and Finance departments
- Assisting with the administrative duties of programs
- Any other duties are requested time to time by the Director of Studies to support the faculty and/or Campus
- An empathy with and ability to communicate with students from diverse cultural backgrounds
