About the role

Support Worker position with MyCare Keeper supporting participants in Supported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation and with community access in Port Macquarie. You may be involved in supported independent living, community access and social activities, daily living support, personal care, household tasks, meal preparation, medication assistance, record keeping, and transport and community participation.

Key responsibilities

- Providing personal care and daily living support
- Assisting participants with household tasks
- Supporting participants to access the community
- Driving participants in your own vehicle, with travel reimbursed
- Preparing meals
- Providing medication assistance
- Completing accurate daily records and documentation
- Supporting participants to achieve their individual goals and live as independently as possible

About you

- Minimum Certificate III in Disability or an equivalent qualification
- Current First Aid & CPR




- Current NSW Driver Licence
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current National Police Certificate
- Own reliable vehicle
- Comprehensive car insurance
- Australian working rights
- Proof of COVID-19 immunisation
- Previous experience in aged care or disability support is preferred
