Laboratory Analyst – sugar mill

About the Job

Applying your knowledge and capability to enhance the performance of the mill in key areas such as:

• Sampling and analysis of processed product

• Sampling and analysis of juice sampled from cane consignments for cane payment purposes

• Analysis of sugar and product analysis for factory control

Work efficiently and accurately sampling and analysis

You will be part of a high performing Production team

You will be required to work shift on a 12hr lifestyle roster

About You

• You hold a laboratory certificate or possess proven relative laboratory experience

• You are comfortable working in a manufacturing, processing or heavy industry environment

• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail

• You can maintain the laboratories and associated equipment in a clean and orderly state

• You have time management skills and ability to work both accurately and independently whilst following procedures

• Safety is at the core of everything you do





• You can weigh up multiple conflicting pieces of information and develop a plan to achieve organisational goals

• You are a team player and operate in accordance with Tully Sugar’s Values and Behaviours

• You are analytical and never stop looking for ways to improve performance of Tully Sugar

• You are curious and like to learn new things

• You communicate with empathy, but purposefully

• You have permanent working rights in Australia
