What Crisp actually is

We are a cleaner-first company.

Most cleaning companies treat cleaners as disposable labour. Fill the shift, send the invoice, move on. We do the opposite: we find the small number of genuinely outstanding residential cleaners (we know you're out there!!) and build you a book of recurring private clients.

Our goal for you is 10.

Ten regular weekly customers in your area. That's what it takes to earn $1,500–$2,000 per week. We work with you from day one to get you there, and once you're there, our job is to keep it stable.

How the partnership works

This is a genuine two-sided arrangement, and both sides have to hold up their end.

What we do:

- Find and win your customers - all sales and marketing

- All booking, scheduling and coordination

- All invoicing and payment collection

- Front-line customer service and admin

- Brand, systems, checklists and standards

- Weekly pay, every Saturday

What you do:

- Deliver a genuinely exceptional clean, every single time

- Build a real relationship with each homeowner so they stay (important!!)

- Communicate proactively - with clients and with us

- Adapt to each customer's preferences without being told twice

- Spot opportunities to add value, rebook and refer

We bring you the customers. You keep them. That's the deal, and it's why the pay looks the way it does.

If one of us underperforms, we both lose.

What you'll earn

- $1,500–$2,000 per week with 10 regular weekly clients (can be more)

- Your own regular clients near you

- A percentage of every job - well above industry standard

- Promotion pathways to higher percentages as you perform

- Weekly pay, every Saturday

- 100% of your tips

- 10% ongoing commission on every customer you refer

Your availability and your performance directly determine your income.





Why we pay so much more

Because cleaning is only half the job.

The cleaning has to be second nature to you. You should walk into a home and know exactly what to do without a checklist telling you. You have the eye. You see the skirting boards, the shower screen, the tracks in the sliding door. You don't cut corners because you couldn't bring yourself to.

But that's just the standard.

The reason we pay well above the industry is what comes after that. You become someone a customer trusts inside their home every week. That only works if you can genuinely connect with people:

- Warm, clear, professional communication - every time

- Real rapport, not polite small talk

- Proactive problem-solving before it becomes a complaint

- Total ownership of your client relationships

- A growth mindset, and a genuine interest in helping build something

This is the hard part. This is the part almost nobody can do at the level we need. General cleaning experience alone will not be enough.

We're looking for the rare few who are excellent at both - and who are ready to finally be rewarded for it.

What this role is NOT

Be honest with yourself before you apply. You will not be successful if you are not exceptional. You won't earn 60 per hour for no reason.

This is not a low-engagement, head-down and clean job. If that's what you want, there are hundreds of those and we're not one of them.

You will carry significantly more responsibility than a standard cleaning role. You will work independently, make judgement calls on your own, and you will be held accountable for your performance - client retention, quality, communication, reliability. You will arrange supplies, parking requirements, customer preferences, travel, etc.

We promise our customers a perfect result every time,



and we don't cut corners to get there. That standard sits on you when you're in the home.

It's a genuinely lucrative opportunity. It's also a demanding one. This role is not for everyone.

Requirements (non-negotiable)

- Must have paid residential cleaning experience (homes, not commercial sites)

- Exceptional communication - written and verbal. This is the single most important requirement.

- Located within ~30km of Melbourne CBD, or in the south-eastern suburbs

- Own reliable car and full licence - public transport will not work for this role

- ABN (or willing to obtain - it's free and takes minutes)

- Smartphone for job tracking and before/after photos

- Own cleaning supplies and equipment, including a high-suction vacuum (backpack preferred) - or willing to source them. We can support for the right candidate.

- Consistent weekly availability across business hours. Weekend availability is a solid plus.

Flexible arrangements will be considered for genuinely exceptional people, but wide, consistent availability is strongly preferred - recurring clients need a reliable weekly slot.

Please don't apply if…

- You don't have paid residential cleaning experience

- You're not comfortable operating as a contractor on an ABN

- You see this as "just cleaning"

- You don't have a car, or can't reliably travel up to 30 minutes

- Communication isn't one of your genuine strengths

- You want to be told exactly what to do at every step
