Senior Production Manager – Multi-Site Manufacturing

Are you an experienced Production Manager ready to take ownership of a large-scale, multi-site manufacturing operation?

Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality, innovation and operational excellence. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a highly capable Senior Production Manager to lead a complex, multi-site production operation across Western Sydney.

This is a significant leadership opportunity, overseeing approximately 300 employees across multiple manufacturing operations.

The Opportunity

Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for driving production performance, safety, people leadership and continuous improvement across multiple sites.

You will lead and develop a large operational workforce while ensuring production targets, quality standards and customer expectations are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage production operations across multiple manufacturing sites

- Oversee and develop a workforce of approximately 300 employees

- Drive a strong culture of safety, accountability and operational excellence

- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining high quality standards

- Improve productivity, efficiency and overall manufacturing performance

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across people, processes and systems

- Develop and mentor Production Managers, Supervisors and frontline leaders

- Manage labour planning, workforce performance and operational resources

- Work closely with senior leadership, maintenance,



supply chain and quality teams

- Monitor operational KPIs and implement strategies to improve performance

- Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency and optimise production costs

- Support future growth, operational change and manufacturing initiatives

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Significant experience as a Senior Production Manager, Production Manager or Manufacturing Manager

- Experience leading a large-scale manufacturing operation

- Proven experience managing large teams and multiple layers of leadership

- Previous multi-site management experience highly regarded

- Strong knowledge of production planning, manufacturing processes and operational KPIs

- A demonstrated background in continuous improvement and operational excellence

- Excellent leadership and people management skills

- The ability to influence stakeholders and drive change

- A hands-on, commercially minded approach to manufacturing operations

- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
