Trust for Nature

Melbourne

Trust for Nature is custodian of more than 40 conservation properties across Victoria. We’ve acquired these properties thanks to the generosity of our supporters who recognised the importance of conserving native flora and fauna.

Trust for Nature is seeking a Conservation Reserves Coordinator to support the management of our network of Conservation Reserves. In this role, you will work closely with a wide group of stakeholders, including volunteer groups, Traditional Owners, contractors and community members, to help achieve positive conservation outcomes on Reserves. You will monitor reserve conditions and identify opportunities to improve conservation outcomes, provide land management advice and oversee on-ground conservation activities, such as working bees and contractor works.

This is a blended field and office-based role that involves regular travel across Victoria to support the management of Conservation Reserves. A current driver’s licence, a willingness to travel frequently, and enthusiasm for working on Country are all essential. The role often requires working independently on reserves, so you must be comfortable and confident with solo field work. Occasional weekend work will be required.
