We’re looking for an experienced SQL DBA to join an Enterprise business on an initial 3-month contract, with potential for extension. It would suit someone who's immediately available (or has a very short notice period, i.e. 1 week).

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the performance, availability, security and ongoing management of SQL Server environments, particularly within Azure. This is an in-flight project focused on migrating data from multiple sources into a single source of truth. You’ll be comfortable working with large datasets and have solid experience across ETL, data migration, complex SQL queries, performance tuning, security and monitoring.

Key Requirements
Solid SQL Server / DBA experience
Proven Azure experience
Database administration, performance tuning and troubleshooting
Backup, recovery and high-availability experience
Robust understanding of database security and monitoring
Ability to work independently and hit the ground running

Contract: 3 months initially
Location: Sydney
Rate: $930/day inc. Super
