Finance Manager | Temp to Permanent

Immediate Start

An established and growing skilled services organisation is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join the business on an initial temporary basis, with a genuine opportunity to move into a permanent position.

Reporting into senior leadership, this is a broad and hands-on role with responsibility for the day-to-day finance function, while also providing meaningful financial insight and support to the wider business.

This would suit an experienced Finance Manager or Financial Controller who enjoys working in a smaller, professional workplace where they can take ownership, build strong relationships and have a genuine impact.

The role will include:
Oversight of the day-to-day finance function
Month-end reporting, reconciliations and financial controls
Cash flow management and forecasting
Budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
Oversight of AP, AR, payroll and billing
Statutory and regulatory compliance
Working closely with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and advice
Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and reporting




Supporting and developing a small finance team
Liaising with external auditors and advisers as required

About you

You will be an experienced finance professional with a strong technical accounting foundation and a naturally hands-on approach.

Ideally you will bring:
CA/CPA qualification or equivalent
Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or similar role
Strong financial controls, reconciliations and compliance experience
Exposure to a regulated or professional services environment would be highly regarded
Strong stakeholder management skills
The ability to operate both strategically and in the detail
A practical, commercial and solutions-focused approach

This is a great chance to initially join on a temporary basis, get to know the business and its people, and potentially transition into the role permanently.
