About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Barista to join our team on a full-time / part time basis. This role is ideal for a hospitality skilled who is passionate about coffee excellence, customer service, and team leadership. You will play a hands-on role behind the machine while also overseeing daily café operations and staff performance.

Key Responsibilities

Barista & Coffee Operations
Prepare and serve consistently high-quality espresso-based coffee and beverages
Expert operation of commercial espresso machines and grinders
Dial-in, adjust grind, extraction, and milk texturing to house standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station at all times
Monitor coffee quality, wastage, and stock levels
Uphold food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards

Essential
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a professional barista
Proven ability to produce consistent, high-quality coffee under pressure




Robust knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and workflow
Previous experience in a barista role
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong customer service mindset
Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and peak service periods

Desirable
Experience in specialty coffee or high-volume café environments
Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling
Barista certification or formal hospitality training
Understanding of Australian food safety standards
