Currently we are actively seeking a Senior and/or Junior Estimator to suit our clients requirements.

They are local to the Newcastle area with a solid focus in commercial construction.

Junior Estimators must have, currently studying or have trade background in Construction/Estimating/Project Management. Aswell as genuine interest in the industry and motivated to further increase skills while being a valued team member.

Senior Estimators are to be comfortable and approachable to seek out prospects and leads for increasing company exposure in current and current estimating ventures.

About the role

Within the role you will be responsible for maintaining leads, interpreting architectural and engineering reports, preparing accurate proposals and supporting documents, attending site meetings, securing projects through contract, meeting estimator and tender deadlines, preparing client files for handover to the construction team, and producing job schedules.

Maintain leads current and new
Interpret architectural, engineering, reports etc.
Prepare accurate proposals & supporting documents

Producing job schedules

About you
Understanding in contracts & estimating
Sound knowledge in Microsoft Office programs
Ability to build rapport with external stakeholders
An ability to prioritise & multi-task to meet time deadlines
Positive and proactive person who can contribute to company/office culture
