A rapidly growing food manufacturing business based in Preston is looking to add a top-tier Dual Trade Maintenance Technician to its engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified dual trade technician who is robust across both mechanical and electrical maintenance and is looking to join a business with significant growth plans.

The Role
You will be responsible for:
Preventative and breakdown maintenance across food production and packaging equipment
Mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs
Completing scheduled PMs, including Saturday PM work where required
Minimising downtime and improving plant reliability
Maintaining accurate maintenance records and following maintenance systems
Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
Working to high GMP, food safety, quality and WHS standards

About You
We’re looking for:




Dual Trade qualification – Mechanical & Electrical
Strong hands-on experience across both mechanical and electrical maintenance
Previous experience within food manufacturing or FMCG
Solid understanding and practical application of GMP practices
Strong preventative and breakdown maintenance experience
A systems-oriented approach to maintenance
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement highly desirable
Proactive, reliable and team-focused approach
