We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Yardperson to join our team at Peninsula Timber & Hardware in Rosebud, Victoria. This is a full time position that will involve assisting customers, maintaining the yard, and supporting the overall operations of our busy timber yard.
Key responsibilities
Assisting customers with loading and unloading purchases
Maintaining the organisation and cleanliness of the yard and storage areas
Receiving and organising stock deliveries
Operating forklifts and other machinery to move and store materials
Providing excellent customer service and support to our clients
Collaborating with the broader team to ensure the smooth running of the business
About you
Experience working in a similar labourer or yardperson role, preferably in the trades or hardware industry
Forklift license is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Valuable communication and customer service abilities
A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to contribute to the success of the business
Reliable and Honest is a must
