About the RoleOn a typical day you will work closely with engineers and project managers to prepare and develop hydraulic calculations, interpret modelling results, and prepare transparent technical documentation and reports. Your hydraulic modelling experience will be highly valued for the insights it brings to improving efficiencies, maximising product value and minimising environmental impact.
You will contribute to project planning, participate in client meetings to ensure models align with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
This full-time, in office position is based in Myaree, 20 minutes south of the Perth CBD or Bunbury, Western Australia. Will consider applicants from Brisbane or greater Queensland.




ResponsibilitiesBuild hydraulic models in order to perform detail design calculations.Improve operational performance through trade-off studies, debottlenecking assessments and process optimisation activities.Facilitate and contribute to risk workshops and design reviews.Prepare technical reports and study deliverables.Expectation as a senior engineer to peer review others' work.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in chemical or process engineering recognised by the Institute of Engineers (Australia).Professional registration (CPEng and RPEQ).5 to 10 years’ experience.
Required SkillsProficiency with hydraulic simulation or modelling tools.Can build, calibrate, and validate models using Plant data for the purpose of performing detail design calculations.Experience with on-site data collection, and working safely in industrial settings.Analytical and problem-solving skills, including data analysis, root-cause investigation, and scenario evaluation to support design and optimisation decisions.
