Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in accounting practices, with a preference for expertise in MYOB and Xero software. As an Account Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with other accounting tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:
Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions promptly and accurately.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and statements.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Maintain and update financial records in MYOB and Xero software.
Assist in financial data analysis to support decision-making processes.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.




Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in accounting or finance roles, with a preference for familiarity with MYOB and Xero software.
Robust attention to detail and accuracy in financial data processing.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
Relevant accounting certifications or degrees are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
