We are seeking caring and reliable volunteers to help prepare essential baby clothing and other items for inclusion in gift boxes provided to families experiencing vulnerability.
Volunteers will play an significant role in ensuring each gift box is thoughtfully prepared, complete and ready to be delivered to a family in need.
Key Responsibilities
• Sort and organise donated baby clothing and essential items.
• Prepare items for inclusion in gift boxes.
• Pack gift boxes according to organisational guidelines.
• Quality-check clothing and other items to ensure they are clean, suitable and in positive condition.
• Assist with maintaining an organised and welcoming packing area.
• Work cooperatively with other volunteers and staff.
• Follow Give Back Townsville's procedures and instructions.
• Treat all families, volunteers and staff with dignity, respect and confidentiality.
