Working as part of our Defence Services team, you will undertake electrical inspections, testing, fault finding, maintenance, and reporting activities across a range of Defence facilities and assets. Travel throughout the NT may be required, with site allowances and accommodation provided where applicable.
Key responsibilities
Conduct electrical inspections, testing and compliance assessments
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities
Carry out fault finding, diagnostics and minor repairs
Test and verify electrical installations and equipment
Complete inspection reports, maintenance records and technical documentation
Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards, Defence requirements and company procedures
Liaise professionally with Defence stakeholders and site representatives
Proactively seek prospects for growth of work scopes within the Defence contract
Maintain a solid commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence
About you
Current Northern Territory Electrical Licence
Current White Card
Current Driver's Licence
Solid fault-finding and testing experience
Sound knowledge of Australian electrical standards and safe work practices
Ability to work independently and manage field-based activities
Strong communication and reporting skills
Professional, punctual and safety-focused approach
Ability to travel to regional and remote locations when required
Current DCAC and defence clearance highly regarded but not essential
