Weekend Sales Superstar Wanted

We are looking for someone who is capable and passionate about sales to help run our weekend market stall in Fitzroy.

We are a small boutique tonic water manufacturer, making small batch aromatic tonic water as a syrup. We are one of the most awarded brands of tonic water ever and are changing the narrative on mixers. We started during covid on unemployment money and got our first foothold selling face to face at markets, especially our flagship market in Fitzroy. We are looking for someone who is personable and comfortable selling an creative high-end product.

About you:

-A proactive sales star with excellent spoken English and an understanding of human nature and hungry to sell an exceptional high-end product.

-An outgoing personality and not afraid to talk to a wide variety of people and to reach out to passersby who might not otherwise engage with a product they don’t first understand

-Excellent communication skills

-Punctual and able to manage time

-Able to work most weekends, most especially leading up to Christmas

-Comfortable working the stall alone (we try to have a second person but it’s not always possible)

-Comfortable talking about our product as it stands on its own or relates to alcohol as a mixer





-Comfortable making sales pitches and closing sales, including upselling

-No car needed – we’re in the middle of very accessible public transport and driving may actually be harder

Physical requirements:

-Able to stand for up to six hours at a time

-Able to be outside under shelter in year-round weather

In return:

We pay very well - $40p/h including weekend loading

Sales commission of 10% of sales over the break-even threshold
