We are seeking a driven Sous Chef to support our Head Chef in leading the kitchen for a landmark recent restaurant within the Powerhouse Parramatta. You'll be at the heart of service, running sections, mentoring the team, and helping deliver a dining experience that is confident, contemporary, and distinctly Australian. What You'll Do
Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and service execution
Step up to lead service in the Head Chef's absence
Train, coach, and motivate junior kitchen team members
Uphold food quality, consistency, and hygiene standards
Help embed kitchen culture and standards from opening day

What We're Looking For
Solid experience as a Sous Chef in a premium or high-volume kitchen
Solid section and time management under pressure




A genuine passion for mentoring and developing others
Hunger to grow into a Head Chef role over time
