Soul Origin Top Ryde is looking for Full time & Casual Team Members to join our team!

We are currently hiring for Back of House (BOH) positions.

Kitchen Hand / BOH Team Member

Do you enjoy working with fresh ingredients and preparing great food? Are you comfortable with early starts and working independently or as part of a small team?

Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing fresh menu items according to Soul Origin recipes and standards
Food preparation using commercial-grade knives
Ordering, receiving and rotating stock
Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment and utensils
Kitchen opening/closing and end-of-day cleaning

We're looking for someone who:
Is confident using commercial-grade knives
Can accurately follow recipes and preparation guides
Has a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
Understands food safety and hygiene practices




Is reliable and comfortable with early morning starts
Ideally has 6+ months' food preparation or kitchen experience

Pay & Penalty Rates

Pay is in accordance with the Fast Food Industry Award 2020 (MA000003), including applicable casual loading, weekend and public holiday penalty rates.
