We are looking for a reliable, patient and caring NDIS Support Worker to support a participant in the Footscray area.

The successful applicant will have experience working with people with mental health needs and be confident providing respectful, person-centred support in the community.

Duties may include: Community access and social participation Supporting the participant with shopping and errands Attending the gym Going for walks in local parks Encouraging healthy routines and community participation Providing companionship and positive social interaction Supporting the participant to build confidence and independence Requirements: Previous experience as an NDIS Support Worker Mental health support experience is essential Current NDIS Worker Screening Check Working With Children Check (if applicable) First Aid and CPR Reliable and punctual Valuable communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and respectfully with the participant

Pay: $36.00 – $37.00 per hour
