Love good food? Love a positive vibe? We're on the hunt for a passionate Sous Chef to join the crew at Hanks Bagelry — Armadale 3143.

Hanks is all about fresh ideas, bold flavours, and crafting food we're proud of. We run a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen, and we're looking for someone who can help lead the pass while still valuing a genuine work–life balance — something we proudly support with daytime-only hours.

You'll work closely with our Head Chef to run the kitchen day-to-day — leading the team, keeping standards high, and making sure every plate leaving the pass is one we're proud of.

What We're Looking For
3+ years' experience in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen,



including time in a senior or leadership role
Confidence running a section and supporting the Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations
A positive leader who brings excellent energy and sets the standard for the team
Organised, reliable, and robust communication skills
A genuine love for food, flavour, and presentation
A keen eye for detail and consistency
Someone who loves what they do and wants to grow with us

Pay: $64,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
