Blue Shield Family General Practice is seeking an experienced, organised and highly reliable Medical Administrator/Receptionist to join our small, friendly two-doctor practice.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative and ownership of their role, communicates professionally and enjoys providing excellent patient service.

Key Responsibilities
Managing appointments and patient enquiries
Patient check-in and accurate data entry
Medicare billing and claiming
Managing recalls, referrals and correspondence
Scanning and maintaining accurate patient records
Supporting efficient patient flow
Completing daily administrative duties and appropriate handover
Communicating effectively with doctors, nurses and patients
Maintaining patient confidentiality and skilled standards

Confident communicating with patients
Comfortable working in a busy small-practice setting

Experienced with medical practice software and Medicare processes

Previous Australian general practice reception/administration experience is strongly preferred.
