Venue Manager - Elster Elstermwick

Elster Elsternwick is on the hunt for a passionate and experienced Venue Manager to lead the team at its vibrant and much-loved café in the heart of Elsternwick.

As Venue Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind daily operations, team culture, and customer experience. This is a hands-on role that requires a confident leader with a sharp eye for detail, solid organisational skills, and a love for creating a warm and welcoming environment.

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar managerial role
A people-first approach to team leadership and customer service
Proven ability to manage rosters, stock, and budgets
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
A calm, confident presence in a fast-paced setting
Barista experience is a plus
Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and key trading days (e.g.



Mother's Day, Christmas Eve, etc.)

Responsibilities:
Oversee and lead the front-of-house team
Manage day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and effective service
Drive staff training, development, and retention
Maintain a high standard of quality, cleanliness, and presentation
Collaborate with owners on targets, promotions, and improvements
