​$94,283 - $109,941 per annum

Effective Package: $117,230 - $135,083

About the role

The Early Years Aboriginal Family Support Worker provides culturally protected, educational and responsive support to infants, young children and their families referred to the Early Years Family Support Program.

Requirements
Aboriginal descent; identifies as an Aboriginal person; accepted by the Aboriginal community.
Qualification Cert IV or above in relevant field or experience in family support, early childhood, education or health.
Experience providing parenting/life skills support to vulnerable families with infants and young children and understanding of child development.
Awareness of local Aboriginal culture and history; ability to communicate with Alice Springs Aboriginal community.
Computer skills for data entry and case notes.
Current NT Driver’s Licence.
Willingness and fitness to travel to remote locations.
