TM1 Developer | Day Rate Contract | 12 Months + | Melbourne (Hybrid)

A well-known Australian retail brand is looking for an experienced TM1 Developer to join their Finance Systems team on an initial 12-month day rate contract, with a robust likelihood of extension.
This role sits at the intersection of BAU support for an established IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) environment and hands-on involvement in a major SAP ERP transformation currently underway — a great prospect to broaden your integration testing experience while continuing to work in the tool you know best.

The Role
Design, build and maintain TM1 cubes, dimensions, hierarchies, rules and TurboIntegrator (TI) processes supporting budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
Provide ongoing troubleshooting, performance tuning and change management for existing TM1 models
Build and maintain templates and reports in TM1 Web and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfe)
Participate in the SAP ERP implementation as the finance systems representative for System Integration Testing (SIT) — developing test scripts, validating data flows between SAP and TM1, logging and tracking defects through resolution




Support regression testing and cutover/stabilisation activities as the business moves onto the current SAP setting

About You
Demonstrated hands-on experience building and maintaining IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 models — cubes, dimensions, rules and TI processes
Experience building templates and reports in TM1 Web and/or Planning Analytics for Excel
Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
Prior exposure to system integration testing, ideally within an ERP implementation or upgrade
SAP exposure (S/4HANA, BW, or FI/CO) highly regarded, or a genuine willingness to build this quickly
Strong SQL and relational database skills
Excellent stakeholder communication — comfortable translating business requirements into technical solutions
