ADELAIDE RIVER INN Barista Full time Salary from $68,000 per annum Adelaide River Inn is situated 112km south of Darwin on the Stuart Highway, Northern Territory. 303 Bar and Bistro is open daily from 9am to 10pm for lunch and dinner. The Bistro serves old country style favourites and up-to-date style meals. Famous for its local wild caught barramundi, and another dish worth trying would be the buffalo. About the Role
welcome customers, take their orders and handle payments
outline the differences in coffee beans and roasts to customers
grind coffee using a coffee grinder and adjusting the grinder as needed
preparing espresso-based coffee drinks, such as long black, flat white, caffè latte and cappuccino
preparing other beverages, including tea,



hot chocolate and frozen drinks
keep coffee-making equipment clean throughout the day and thoroughly clean the equipment at the end of the day
replenish shelves and fridges with items such as baked goods, snacks and bottled drinks

Qualifications and Skills
AQF Certificate II or equivalent qualification/experience
at least 2 years recent experience in a busy commercial hospitality outlet
sound knowledge and experience with food safety (HACCP) and work health and safety procedures
proven ability to operate a range of barista equipment including espresso machines, grinders, etc
ability to work according to the requirements of the position
