Key Responsibilities
Participate in the development and implementation of supply chain strategies for the Battery Business Unit, including establishing and enhancing procurement and product supply management systems.
Support the implementation of the Group’s procurement strategy and develop a comprehensive supplier resource framework to maximise the effective use of available resources.
Develop procurement strategies and plans aligned with the Business Unit’s operational objectives, providing recommendations and market insights for major procurement decisions.
Establish and implement procurement policies, procedures and work plans for battery raw materials and manufacturing equipment, and regularly monitor compliance and performance.
Review procurement plans for materials and equipment, overseeing their development, allocation, implementation and performance evaluation.
Build and manage a reliable supply network for materials and equipment, expand sourcing channels and oversee supplier performance.
Monitor production schedules and supplier delivery performance to ensure the timely delivery of finished products.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience in the battery, battery materials, battery equipment or advanced manufacturing industry.
At least five years of experience in a procurement or supply chain leadership role.
Solid knowledge of battery materials, manufacturing equipment, production operations and quality management.
Established supplier networks within the battery industry will be highly regarded.
Experience using major ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
Solid negotiation, communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Results-oriented and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure workplace.
