Australian Education Excellence Centre is a CRICOS RTO located in Werribee. With a strong focus on industry-relevant, hands-on learning, we are committed to preparing our students for successful careers. We are looking for a trainer and assessor for the following courses:
Certificate III in Carpentry
Certificate III in Cabinet Making & Timber Technology

About the role Deliver high-quality, engaging, and industry-relevant training to students in both classroom and practical settings for Certificate III in Carpentry and Certificate III in Cabinet Making & Timber Technology. You will assess student competency in line with training package requirements and industry standards, and ensure training delivery and assessment is aligned with current industry practices and legislative requirements.

Key responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, engaging, and industry-relevant training to students in both classroom and practical settings.
Provide students with explicit, constructive feedback and support to ensure successful learning outcomes.
Assess student competency in line with training package requirements and industry standards.




Ensure training delivery and assessment is aligned with current industry practices and legislative requirements.
Support the continuous improvement of training programs with industry trends and developments to ensure programs remain relevant and high-quality.
Liaise with services and undertake work placement visits

About you
Relevant Vocational Competence in Certificate III in Carpentry or Certificate III in Cabinet Making & Timber Technology
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Trainer and Assessor in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse learners
Strong organisational and time management skills to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team
Commitment to continuous career development and staying up-to-date with industry changes
