The Cowra Bowling & Recreation Club is seeking a reliable, hands-on and motivated Repairs & Maintenance Person to join the team on a full-time basis. This is a diverse and rewarding role for someone who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team, with responsibility for helping maintain the Club's buildings, facilities, grounds and gardens to a high standard. The successful applicant will assist with the day-to-day repairs, maintenance and upkeep of the Club's facilities and grounds.

Key responsibilities
General repairs and maintenance across Club buildings and facilities
Preventative maintenance and identifying maintenance requirements
Gardening, horticultural work and general greens maintenance
Assisting with the upkeep and presentation of outdoor areas
Liaising with external contractors and suppliers when required
Sourcing and ordering maintenance materials and supplies
Assisting with minor construction, repairs and improvement projects
Ensuring work areas and equipment are maintained safely
Responding to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
Assisting with other duties as required to ensure the Club remains secure, functional and well presented

About you




Previous experience in general repairs, maintenance, building services, horticulture or a similar role
Strong practical and problem-solving skills
The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Experience liaising with suppliers and contractors
A high level of attention to detail and pride in their work
Valuable communication and teamwork skills
A solid understanding of workplace health and safety
Relevant trade or horticultural qualifications or experience will be highly regarded
A current driver's licence

Employment Details This is a full-time position, with remuneration paid in accordance with the applicable award:

Level 5 – Maintenance & Horticultural Level 4 (Tradesperson)

Salary Range: $61,848.80 – $67,421.12 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
