The Software Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance of the software systems that underpin Geoimage’s geospatial and Earth Observation (EO) services, its client-facing digital platforms, and its internal business operations. The role translates complex spatial data and commercial requirements into reliable, scalable and maintainable software.

The role spans four connected domains: geospatial data processing and automation; customer-facing web and portal platforms, including the automation of imagery ordering and fulfilment; internal business systems and tooling; and supporting IT infrastructure. The Software Engineer frequently operates as the sole engineer on a given system,



carrying it from concept through to production and ongoing support.

The role applies critical thinking to solve technical problems, works effectively with limited supervision, and contributes to high-quality outcomes across data processing, analysis, product delivery and revenue-generating client services. It requires a robust commitment to software quality, security and attention to detail, and a willingness to continuously learn and adopt recent tools and approaches, including the effective use of AI-assisted development tools.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
