Social Media Manager - Content, Digital & E-commerce

About the opportunity

Our client is a fast-growing Australian business with multiple established consumer brands and several current brands, products and projects launching over the coming months. Their in-house marketing team is expanding, and they're now looking for a Social Media Manager to take full ownership of organic social across the brand portfolio.

This is a hands-on content creation role for someone who genuinely understands social. The content you create won't sit on social alone; it will also be used across websites, email marketing and paid Meta campaigns.

You'll work alongside a Digital Marketing Manager, Senior Digital Marketer and Web Developer, with genuine scope to progress into broader digital marketing responsibilities as the team grows.

What you'll be doing
Own the organic social media presence across multiple brands
Plan, create and schedule content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
Capture photography and video of products, customer projects, displays and behind-the-scenes activity
Create engaging Reels, short-form video and social-first content
Edit photo and video using Canva,



Adobe Creative Suite or similar
Write captions, blogs, buyer guides and other marketing content
Appear on camera to demonstrate products and create educational content
Monitor engagement, respond to comments and grow the online community
Review performance data and audience insights to continually improve content
Support product launches and wider marketing campaigns
Build and send EDMs via Klaviyo
Update Shopify sites with products, images and content
Coordinate influencer and content collaborations

What you'll need
3+ years' experience in a social media, content or marketing role
Solid photography, video editing and copywriting skills
An understanding that social media is a marketing tool, not just a creative outlet
The ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines
A track record of producing qualified content that reflects a premium brand
Organised, proactive and detail-focused, with the confidence to make decisions and solve problems independently
Comfortable both behind the camera and occasionally in front of it
