We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
Expert knowledge and experience in developing and leading a portfolio management office in alignment with strategic objectives and organisational outcomes.- Proven experience working in an ICT setting, with an understanding of the PMO requirements in this setting, monitoring performance and outcomes, whilst cultivating effective working relationships to deliver continuous improvement.- Highly developed communication skills including the ability to build and maintain beneficial professional networks, work collegiately with stakeholders, and write professional, high-quality documents for the consumption of senior managers, external audiences,



and other stakeholders.- Demonstrated high level leadership skills and experience in providing expert advice on PMO related issues to senior management and team members.- Previous experience in a government workplace or a similar setting that has required you to work within stringent governance, policy, program and project management frameworks.
Mandatory/Special conditions/Other requirements
The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:
Whilst not mandatory, a tertiary or postgraduate qualification in an ICT discipline will be highly regarded.- Whilst not mandatory, a qualification in Management of Portfolio (MoP), would be highly regarded.
