About the role

Experienced Mechanical Fitters are required to join Fortis across a range of projects and shutdowns in the Goldfields. The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out planned and preventative maintenance on fixed processing plant. This role is local to Kalgoorlie or FIFO from Perth.





Key responsibilities
Maintain and repair crushers, screens, conveyors, feeders and chutes
Maintain and repair pumps, gearboxes, motors, couplings, bearings and drive systems
Complete planned shutdowns, major overhauls and breakdown maintenance
Strip, inspect and rebuild mechanical components and equipment

Requirements:
Trade Certificate
National police clearance
Working at Heights
Confined Space
White card
Australian working rights
HRWL – desirable
Gas Testing Atmosphere – desirable
Basic Fire – desirable
