About the Role

An established and well-respected electrical wholesaler is looking for an experienced Branch Manager to lead their Geelong operation.

This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who understands the electrical wholesale industry, enjoys developing a team and knows how to drive both sales and operational performance.

You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the branch while maintaining strong relationships with local contractors and customers and continuing to grow the business across the Geelong market.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the branch
Lead, support and develop the branch team
Drive sales growth and identify current business opportunities
Build and maintain robust relationships with existing trade customers
Develop new customer relationships across the local market
Manage branch budgets, targets and overall profitability
Oversee stock levels, purchasing and inventory management
Ensure a high standard of customer service across the branch
Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Monitor branch KPIs and implement strategies to improve performance
Create a positive, supportive and high-performing team environment

About You

Ideally,



you will have:
Experience within electrical wholesale or electrical distribution
Previous Branch Management, Assistant Branch Management or senior sales experience
Strong knowledge of electrical products and the trade customer market
Proven sales and business development ability
Strong leadership and people management skills
Commercial understanding and the ability to manage branch performance
Excellent customer relationship-building skills
A proactive, hands-on approach to leadership
The ability to motivate a team and lead by example
