Role Description
Conduct financial, industry, market, and company research to support investment banking transactions and strategic initiatives.
Build and maintain detailed financial models, including valuation, forecasting, transaction, and scenario analyses.
Perform company valuations using methodologies such as discounted cash flow, comparable companies, and precedent transactions.
Prepare pitch books, management presentations, valuation materials, transaction analyses, and other client-facing deliverables.
Support execution of mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing, restructuring, and other corporate finance transactions.
Analyze financial statements, operating metrics, capital structures, and business performance to identify key trends and investment considerations.
Conduct due diligence and coordinate information gathering across internal teams, clients, advisors, and other transaction participants.
Monitor capital markets, industry developments, competitive dynamics, and relevant economic trends.
Assist in preparing transaction documentation, financial analyses, and materials for senior bankers and clients.
Ensure analytical outputs and presentation materials are accurate, consistent, and delivered to a high skilled standard.
Collaborate with deal teams to develop strategic recommendations and transaction solutions for clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
Strong understanding of corporate finance, financial statements, valuation, capital markets, and investment banking concepts.
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
Familiarity with valuation methodologies including DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions.
Excellent PowerPoint skills and ability to present complex financial information in a clear and structured manner.
Solid research, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy in financial analysis and presentation materials.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information effectively.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet demanding deadlines, and work effectively in a highly collaborative setting.
Solid commercial awareness and interest in financial markets, corporate transactions, and strategic finance.
