Salary: $46ph Plus shift loading, penalties, overtime, and super (EBA)
Hours: 6am to 4 pm

About the role
Working as part of the maintenance team, the Industrial Electrician will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of plant equipment within a large-scale steel manufacturing environment.

The role involves carrying out planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, troubleshooting electrical faults, and supporting improvement projects across a variety of industrial systems including PLCs, motors, drives, cranes, and automated equipment.

Responsibilities:
Complete scheduled maintenance, inspections,



and electrical repairs on production equipment.
Investigate faults and provide timely solutions to reduce equipment downtime.
Assist with upgrades, installations, and reliability improvement initiatives.
Partner with operations and maintenance teams to maintain safe and effective plant performance.

Qualifications and Skills:
Current NSW Electrical Trade Qualification.
Previous experience in industrial electrical maintenance and fault diagnosis.
Understanding of PLCs, automation, variable speed drives, and control systems.
Safety-focused with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
