FIFO | 2:1 Roster | Mining & Earthmoving Equipment

We are currently seeking experienced Auto Electricians to join our mining operations on a FIFO basis.

This role will be responsible for carrying out electrical repairs, fault finding, diagnostics and preventative maintenance across a range of heavy earthmoving, mining and ancillary equipment.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:
Electrical repairs and maintenance across mining and earthmoving equipment
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults and issues
Low-voltage electrical repairs and fault finding
Electrical maintenance on mobile plant, ancillary equipment and support vehicles
Installation, testing and repair of electrical components and systems
Preventative and breakdown maintenance
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

About You

To be successful, you will have:




Relevant Auto Electrical trade qualification
Previous experience working on mining, earthmoving or heavy mobile equipment
Robust fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience with low-voltage electrical systems
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a maintenance team
Solid commitment to safety and quality
Current Australian driver's licence
Mining/FIFO experience highly regarded
