About the role

Legacy Civil is looking for an experienced Civil Construction All-Rounder to join the team. This role suits someone with solid experience across different areas of civil construction who is happy to work across operating machinery, pipework, earthworks, concreting and general site works. The position involves working independently or as part of a small crew, taking ownership of jobs and seeing tasks through from start to finish.

Key responsibilities
Operating excavators, posi tracks and other civil machinery
Stormwater, sewer and water pipework
Pit and manhole installation
Bulk and detailed earthworks
Roadbase preparation and compaction
Concrete preparation and general concreting
Retaining wall construction
Site set-out and working from plans/levels
General civil construction and labouring when required




Working independently or as part of a small crew

About you
Has robust civil construction experience
Is confident working independently
Can read plans and understand levels
Has valuable machine operating experience
Can problem-solve on site without needing to be constantly directed
Takes pride in their work
Is reliable and turns up ready to work
Is willing to help wherever required rather than being limited to one particular role
Understands secure work practices and looks after equipment
Excavator, skid steer/posi, HR/MR licence, pipe laying, drainage, concreting and retaining wall experience highly regarded
