About the Role

We're partnering with a well-established and highly respected electrical contractor delivering commercial and industrial construction projects across Queensland. With an excellent reputation for quality and innovation, they're seeking an experienced BIM Modeller to join their growing engineering team.

Working alongside Electrical Engineers, Project Managers and Design teams, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality 2D documentation and 3D BIM models that support the successful delivery of complex electrical construction projects. This is an chance to work on technically challenging projects while expanding your experience in a collaborative, qualified environment. The position centres on creating coordinated 3D models, electrical design documentation, managing project deadlines, and ensuring designs meet quality and client requirements.

Salary & Benefits
$110,000 - $140,000 + Super

Key Responsibilities
Produce accurate 2D drawings and coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD
Coordinate electrical services with engineers, consultants and other building disciplines
Deliver design documentation within project milestones and client deadlines
Review models for accuracy, constructability and compliance with Australian Standards
Support project teams by identifying clashes, resolving design issues and maintaining quality documentation

What You'll Bring
Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical construction drafting or BIM modelling
Strong proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD and BIM workflows
Certificate IV or Diploma in Engineering Drafting (preferred)
White Card and current Australian Driver's Licence
Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage competing deadlines
