About the role
TRS Staffing is currently searching for an experienced Heavy Lift Supervisor to join a major construction project in Perth, WA. This contract position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising heavy lifting activities while ensuring all operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards.

Duties and responsibilities
Develop and implement detailed lift plans for heavy machinery and equipment
Coordinate heavy lift activities with site teams, engineers, and subcontractors




Supervise heavy lifting operations and resolve site issues as required
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and lifting standards
Conduct pre-lift inspections and risk assessments
Provide guidance and support on heavy lift procedures and best practices
Maintain accurate lifting records, documentation, and reporting

Skills and experience required
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Heavy Lift Supervisor or Coordinator role
Strong knowledge of cranes, forklifts, and heavy plant operations
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and lift plans
Sound understanding of lifting regulations and safety requirements
Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills in a site workplace
Relevant high-risk licences or certifications in rigging, crane operations, or similar
