We’re seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our HVAC division, managing and growing sales across Sydney's Plumbing Merchant network.

This is a hands-on sales role focused on building strong relationships with plumbing merchants, identifying recent opportunities and increasing market share across a growing range of HVAC products.

You’ll be working with an established and highly regarded business, backed by strong products, technical support and a national distribution network.

The Role
Manage and grow relationships with Plumbing Merchants across Sydney
Develop new merchant accounts and identify opportunities within existing customers
Increase product penetration and market share across the HVAC range
Work closely with merchant sales teams to drive product awareness and sales
Deliver product training, presentations and demonstrations where required
Manage the sales process from identifying opportunities through to close
Work with internal sales, marketing and technical teams to support customers
Monitor competitor activity, market trends and opportunities across the HVAC sector

Skills & Experience





We’re looking for a commercially minded sales professional with experience selling through a merchant or distribution network.
Experience within HVAC, plumbing, heating, hot-water, cooling or a related industry
Existing relationships with Plumbing Merchants would be highly regarded
Proven BDM, Account Management or territory sales experience
Robust relationship-building and negotiation skills
Confident dealing with merchant owners, branch managers and sales teams
Self-motivated, organised and comfortable managing your own territory
Solid communication and presentation skills
Current Australian driver’s licence and Permanent Resident/Citizen status

Salary & Advantages
$100,000 – $120,000 base
