A leading skilled services firm is looking for a senior GCP Architect to join their AI & Data practice. You'll be shaping and delivering enterprise scale cloud data platforms for major public and private sector clients.

What you’ll be doing
Leading architecture and solution design for enterprise GCP data platforms from discovery through to delivery
Running stakeholder workshops, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, governed cloud solutions
Designing and building batch and real-time data pipelines using GCP-native services
Implementing enterprise data governance using Google Dataplex — lineage, cataloguing, metadata, data quality
Producing the full artefact suite: SADs, HLDs, options papers, ADRs — and presenting to Architecture Review Boards and Governance Committees
Applying GCP security controls,



VPC/networking principles, IAM, and data protection standards

What you’ll bring
Deep, hands-on GCP experience across BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Dataplex, and IAM
Robust dimensional and analytical data modelling, advanced SQL, and OLAP platform design
Familiarity with Terraform, CI/CD, and DataOps practices
GCP Skilled Data Engineer and/or Cloud Architect certifications highly regarded
Baseline or NV1 clearance required

This role is an initial 12 month contract open to candidates from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Canberra.
