We are currently seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our project team on a 2 weeks on / 1 week off FIFO roster at West Angelas – Rio Tinto.

This is an excellent prospect to work on a significant enabling works project involving bulk earthworks and civil construction in a major Pilbara mining operation.

About the Role

As the HSEQ Advisor, you will play a key role in promoting and maintaining a strong health, safety, environment and quality culture across the project.

Working closely with the project leadership team, workforce, client, suppliers, engineers, vendors and subcontractors, you will provide practical HSEQ advice and support to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with legislative, client and company requirements.

What You’ll Do
Implement and continually review the Project HSEQ Management Plan.
Monitor and refine HSEQ policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and client standards.
Engage with management and workers to promote a solid safety culture and identify and manage risks effectively.
Provide advice, support, and assistance for assessments, inspections, and compliance monitoring.




Actively promote health, safety, and well-being initiatives.
Perform other HSE-related tasks as required onsite.

What You’ll Need
Diploma in Work Health & Safety.
Minimum 5 years of HSE experience, ideally in mining or civil construction on mine sites.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Suite (Excel, Project).
MYOSH Incident Reporting experience (advantageous).
White Card.
Ability to start mid October
Recent experience (Last 5 years) on RTIO site and up to date inductions
