We are seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Technician to join us at Breakaway Group in Truganina, Victoria. This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a tradesperson with experience in motor rewinding, armature winding, and industrial electrical systems, who is committed to safety, precision, and high-quality workmanship.

As an Electro Mechanical Technician, you will:
Disassemble, rewind, refurbish, and reassemble motors, generators, and electrical equipment
Conduct fault-finding, testing, and preventative maintenance on motors, pumps, and related equipment.
Work on medium-sized industrial projects, including automation, control wiring, instrumentation, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Ensure all work complies with WHS, JSA, SWMS, and SOP standards.
Provide professional, customer-facing service where required.

Requirements:
Certificate III in Electrotechnology or A-Class Electrical Trade Qualification
Proven experience in motor rewinding / armature winding
Experience in industrial electrical settings
Familiarity with PLCs, automation, control wiring, instrumentation
Experience with pumps, motors, pneumatics,



and hydraulics
Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and customer service focus
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Commitment to ongoing skilled growth and career development.
Relevant licencing and permits (driver’s license, COVID-19, CPR/LVR, White Card, high-risk licenses)

The successful candidate must be willing to undertake:
a police clearance
pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug testing.
