About the Role
The Finance Manager will be responsible for both day-to-day financial operations and strategic financial support for the Australian business including:
Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Payroll processes
Process employee expenses and corporate credit card reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end financial close activities
Monitor business performance and provide recommendations to management
Support reporting requirements for global headquarters
Coordinate with external accountants, auditors and tax advisors
Support BAS, GST, PAYG and other statutory reporting obligations
Maintain financial controls, policies and compliance documentation
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
CPA or CA qualified (or currently working towards qualification)
Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting or finance roles
Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
Ability to work independently in a standalone finance role
Highly Desirable
Experience in renewable energy, technology, manufacturing or distribution industries
Experience with Xero, SAP Business One, MYOB or similar systems
Fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential for this role
