Account Manager – NSW (Northern Beaches to Port Macquarie)

About Us

We are looking for a dynamic, service-focused Account Manager to join our NSW team. Rockcote, a family-owned Australian business with 47 years in the industry, specialises in render, texture coatings, and complete architectural coating systems that prepare, protect, and finish a wide range of building substrates. We manufacture our own products, ensuring consistent quality, durability, and reliability across every project.

Key Responsibilities
Grow and retain accounts: Identify opportunities to increase sales, expand product use and strengthen account profitability.
Build the trade network: Develop strong relationships with distributors, renderers and applicators and become a trusted point of contact for Rockcote.
Win recent business: Proactively identify and pursue new customers, projects and prospects across the territory, turning market knowledge and relationships into sales.
Be out in the field: Visit distributor stores, customers and project sites, supporting product selection, project prospects and basic technical enquiries.
Support project delivery:



Work alongside the Business Development Manager to transition new projects and take ownership of smaller or established projects.
Keep things moving: Coordinate samples, orders, enquiries and follow-ups, working with sales, technical, production and logistics teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

About You
Experience in rendering, coatings, construction, building products or a related trade; or
Solid experience in sales, account management or customer relationship management and the ability to quickly learn technical products.
A natural ability to build genuine, long-term customer relationships.
A commercial mindset. You can spot an opportunity and aren't afraid to pursue it.
Confidence talking with tradespeople, store teams, customers and internal teams.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Good organisation and follow-through, if you say you will do something, you do it.
A current Australian Drivers Licence and the ability to travel throughout the territory.
