We’re looking for a capable, hands-on Maintenance Fitter who enjoys variety, problem, solving and getting results!

The Chance

We require a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our dedicated team. Working indoors and out, you will help maintain and improve our nursery facilities, ensuring buildings, greenhouses, irrigation systems and outdoor areas are secure, functional and operating at their best.

Please note that we are open and versatile regarding the contract type, working hours and days for this role.

Key responsibilities will include:
Machinery & equipment: Operating, servicing and repairing automated planting machinery and robotics, conveyors, pumps and a range of agricultural equipment.
Breakdowns & repairs: Jumping in quickly to troubleshoot faults, resolve breakdowns and minimise downtime.
Safety & compliance: Identifying,



reporting and addressing hazards to help maintain a safe working environment.
Teamwork & communication: Working closely with the team to deliver assigned preventative maintenance tasks and keep priorities moving.

About you
Trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter
CMMS experience (MEX or other planned maintenance programs preferred)
Solid troubleshooting skills and proven root cause analysis
Hydraulic and pneumatic experience (highly regarded)
Small motor experience (advantageous)
Forklift licence (advantageous)
Restricted electrical qualifications (advantageous)
Intermediate computer skills
Able to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a close-knit team
Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
Current driver’s licence
