Job Description

ibis Styles Brisbane Elizabeth Street is seeking a reliable Part-time Cook to join our energetic kitchen team.
Prepare and maintain all required mise en place to ensure effective kitchen operations and service delivery.
Maintain a clean, protected, and hygienic work environment while consistently meeting high standards of food quality and presentation.
Follow stock rotation procedures and minimise food wastage through effective inventory management practices.
Ensure designated kitchen areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard at all times.
Clean, maintain, and monitor kitchen equipment, promptly reporting any faults or maintenance issues to the Executive Chef.
Receive and check deliveries, unpack produce, and store stock appropriately in accordance with food safety requirements.
Perform general kitchen cleaning and housekeeping duties to support a safe and organised workplace.





Qualifications
Full Australian Working Rights - this role is not available for sponsorship
Trade qualification or pursuing one in Cookery - Certificate III and above.
Passion for cooking and a genuine interest in building a career within the culinary industry.
Eagerness to learn, develop recent skills, and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen environment.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, in line with operational requirements.
