We are currently seeking for an experienced Executive Sous Chef, the position is a balance between personally preparing high quality food and being operationally responsible for supervising and directing all kitchen personnel, while interacting and developing relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities Will Include
Ensuring product quality and service standards are of a consistently high standard;
Working with the Executive F&B; Manager on menu creation;
Training and development of up to 40 employees – Chefs, Apprentices and other kitchen staff;




Ensuring all employees are complying with relevant workplace health and safety requirements at all times;
Control and analyze departmental costs on an ongoing basis;
Devising initiatives and strategies to ensure financial targets are met

The Successful Candidate Will Need To Demonstrate
Formal qualifications in Commercial Cookery or the equivalent;
Experience working at middle to upper-level management within a large 4 or 5 star Hotel/Resort;
Experience working in a multi-outlet Hotel/Resort is preferred but not essential;
A thorough knowledge of Food Safety and other workplace health and safety practices;
A current WA driver's license
